Ruins of Man
Coming soon to Kickstarter
Thousands of years after one man's mistake brought Hell and other realms crashing into the earth, powerful saints guide mankind down a path of survival and redemption in a land overrun by otherworldly monstrosities.
Ruins of Man is an upcoming D&D 5E-compatible RPG setting that takes thematic inspiration from the Bible and the ancient Near East. This guide to the world of Zirah features:
- 24 original subclasses that can be used in any setting, from the lycanthropic Oath of the Full Moon paladin to the Fruit of the Fell Tree warlock.
- 8 richly detailed realms to explore and defend, including Belamuk, a city built inside the belly of a sea serpent by its own victims—easily added to any world with an ocean.
- Nearly 100 ready-to-run quest ideas and adventure seeds featuring both moral quandaries and opportunities for heroic virtue.
- When Angels Sleep, a complete level 1–3 starter adventure that introduces players to the world and can serve as the basis for an entire campaign.
- A robust toolkit of random tables, a detailed Sojourn system that makes overland travel fun and interesting, and an alternative to D&D's XP rules that offers easier math and more flexibility in rewarding players.
- Collections of monsters and magic items native to the setting, plus stat blocks for NPCs of every class and level.
- The life stories of Zirah's saints, uplifted heroes of faith who serve as the setting's alternative to traditional D&D deities.
- A clear overview of Zirah's history, from the creation of the mortal plane to its current age of ruin and hope.
The world needs more timeless stories of heroic virtue in the face of danger and despair: tell yours in Ruins of Man, coming soon to Kickstarter.
